Now You can Play GWENT: The Witcher Card Game on your Android Mobiles
Finally, great news for Android users. You can now play GWENT: The Witcher Card Game on your android devices. The game was debuted last year in October on the iOS devices and eventually, after months of waiting, it has rolled out the game for Android users too.
Yesterday on March 24, the game became available on Google Play for Android users to play it sitting in any corner of the world. Developers of the game: CD Projekt Red had announced almost a year before that it was working on the smartphone version of the game. And today finally, the Android version of the game is ready to play.
What is GWENT: The Witcher Card Game?
In case if you don’t know much about the game, let me tell you. GWENT is a free-to-play card game set in the Witcher universe. In the game, you have to build a deck around one of the 6 existing factions. Factions include Skellige, Northern Realms, Nilfgaard, etc. It’s your choice to choose between a set of different game modes given in the game. And finally, you have to defeat your enemies with the army that you have built.
The cards you choose include famous characters including Geralt, Cirilla, Yennefer, Vesemir, and many more from the Witcher universe. The game’s design idea had come from the basic GWENT card game that was introduced in the “The Witcher 3”. But on the smartphone version, the game has evolved quite beyond that. The game focuses more on skill instead of luck because the victor of a GWENT match is the first to win two of the three rounds. In simple words, if you even lose the first round, you still have the chance to turn the board to your side.
Features of The Witcher Game
To play the game on an Android device, it is a must to have at least 1.5 GB of RAM and an Android version of 7.0 or later. If you have played the game somewhere else and it’s connected to a GOG account, then you can carry on with your progress and purchases. You can also cross-play with PCs and iOS users with the Android version.

The owners in order to celebrate the release of the game say that if you log in into the Android version before March 31st, 12:00 noon CEST, you’ll receive a free Ultimate Premium Keg. Also, if you have pre-registered earlier, you’ll receive the Imperial Golem avatar immediately upon the login. Furthermore, there will also be extra daily rewards available for all the GWENT players throughout the launch week.
