Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha – World’s first All Screen Body Phone
Soon after the notable entry of new model smartphones by Huawei, iPhone, and Samsung. Xiaomi is also planning to jump into the same race, but with something new and different than ever before. Yes, I am talking about Xiaomi MI Mix Alpha which is on its way to amaze the mobile industry with its new concept of display, design, and features.
As Xiaomi Mi Mix series already has tremendous feedback from user side following the bezel-less and notch-less display. While this time, they are coming up with a full-body covered screen. Having a 4D display, curved edges and vertical line cameras placement on the back. Similarly, on the performance side, Alpha is packed with beast specs to compete with any latest model smartphone. There is no other smartphone in the industry ruling this kind of concept.

Processor:
Xiaomi will offer Mi Mix Alpha with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset. Which is based on 7nm technology along with Adreno 640 (700 MHz) GPU and 5G network support. This Giant Processor has boost frequency up to 2.96 GHz Octacore ensuring a lag-free performance in certain operations. On the gaming side, Snapdragon 855 is more than enough to experience ultra-smooth results on high-end games like PUBG, Asphalt, and Call of Duty titles.
Display & Design:
The most attractive thing to be noticed in this smartphone is its unique kind of display. Mi Mix Alpha has an end to end 7.92 inches wrapped display with vertically positioned rear cameras in between the screen. This display is OLED featuring a resolution scale of 2088 x 2250 pixels and 180.6% screen to body ratio. Edges are curved beautifully and the entire body is providing a waterfall impact.
There are no bezels, no physical buttons or any kind of notch present on this phone. Everything is pressure-sensitive to avoid accidental touches while carrying the phone in hands. Other than that, Xiaomi is giving a lot of widget option on the backside of Mi Mix Alpha to utilize features like music player, maps, calculator and many other things without exiting opened apps.
Cameras of Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha:
Apart from that killer display, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha contains a triple camera setup on the back along with a dual flashlight. Featuring 108 MP main camera sensor, 20 MP ultra-wide and a 12 MP of depth sensor. This rear camera setup will play a role as selfie cam as well.
This huge 108 MP cam can support image resolution up to 12032 x 9024 pixels that may vary around 40mb in size. Means cropped images will not have any kind of impact on their quality. Xiaomi is also using Samsung’s (Tetracell) technology in its camera sensors to improve the pixel units.
Battery and Storage:
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha will be packed with 4050 mAh of nano silicone battery and will also support fast charging over 40W adapter. Most of 2019 lineup smartphones are coming with battery power more than 4000 mAh. Which is a decent range in capacity for apps, games, and internet.
Mi Mix Alpha has storage of 512 GB, which is thousands of MB’s to store apps, games, and multimedia simultaneously. It does not have a slot for expanding memory. While most people have no issues to go with huge 512 GB of storage.
Price and Availability:
Well, Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is not something which everybody can afford easily. It’s way more expensive than any other flagship device of 2019. This smartphone will cost you thousands of dollars due to the full-screen body feature. The estimated price of this new smartphone is around 2,738 US Dollars.
According to Lei Jun (CEO of Xiaomi), Mi Mix Alpha is expected to be released by the end of year 2019, probably in December. But nothing is finalized yet, although it’s just a concept phone.
